Out of State Upgrade

With limited experience using another CMS system, Napoleon Ohio was able to work side-by-side with Web Instinct using Concrete5 to design a high-level website that better reflects the personality and history of a great city. Concrete5 granted Napoleon Ohio the ability to effortlessly up-date their site and add content, images, links, and files without the limitations that are often found in other CMS systems.

“In our ongoing effort to make it as easy as possible  for residents and visitors to quickly find the information they need, the town of Napoleon decided to partner with Web Instinct and take advantage of the latest internet technology to redesign the city’s website,” remarked a spokesperson for the city of Napoleon.

One of the goals of the site redesign was to make the site more functional and user-friendly for the public. The City of Napoleon is now positioned to better serving the needs of the community with new navigation and a more robust search engine.

Additional improvements include intuitive navigation that allows visitors discover the latest city news and events right from the home page. Visitors can also engage in photo sharing, find the daily weather report, and instantly access city permits and applications.

“Concrete5 has a robust permissions feature that allows city employees to distribute administrative duties, which saves time and tax payer’s dollars,” remarked Dave Shacket, founder of Web Instinct. “The permissions are set to allow each department the ability to add and edit content within their department’s page, while disabling their ability to edit a page outside of their department.”

If a city’s site is a reflection of their growth, sustainability, and success, we’d like to know what your knee-jerk reaction is of Napoleon Ohio (before you peek at their population statistics!).
