Saratoga County Business Showcase - Mobile Winner

Congratulations to Karen Thomas, owner/broker at Reality Realty! Karen used her mobile device to text in her choice of a Nook, iPod Nano, or $125 Visa gift card. Karen was chosen anonymously and at random from a list of Web Instinct mobile participants who used their mobile devices to text or visit Web Instinct's mobile site.scoc_logo.gif

Web Instinct not only unveiled their suite of mobile technology, they were out to prove that mobile functionality and mobile marketing can be easy. Business Showcase attendees and vendors agreed that 1) their mobile device is never far away and 2) they never really thought about how mobile technology could enhance their ability to connect with the community and leverage mobile marketing to support business strategies.

“The Saratoga Business Showcase is one of my favorite Chamber hosted events,” remarked Carrie Marie Vaughn, customer service at Web Instinct. “It's a great opportunity to connect with other businesses in Saratoga County as well as engage the residents. We had a lot of fun this year launching Web Instinct Mobile at the show and the response from the community was overwhelmingly positive. We were out to prove that mobile technology can be fun, easy, and useful, and I believe we accomplished that.” wi-mobile-site-on-iphone.jpg

If you didn't get a chance to stop by, it's not too late to try out Web Instinct Mobile. For SMS texting, mobile site views, and voice interaction visit our mobile pages.

City Center was a great venue for thriving businesses of Saratoga County to network, meeting the community, and showcase their products and services. The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase has long served it's members by hosting events that build awareness as well as a stronger business community.

A word from our winner Karen Thomas, "It literally took me 5 seconds to dial and text to win. I didn't realize how simple mobile marketing could be. Most home buyers are using an assortment of Apps to find homes in the areas they want to live; it makes sense to have a mobile friendly website that ultimately benefits the buyer and the business."
