Case Study
Online Banking Application
We built a secure, web-based interface for customers to view their active financial transactions. They can submit new requests and upload receipts right through the portal.
"Web Instinct has been a true partner. From conception to launch, they took our vision and helped us develop a user friendly and intuitive tool that is improving our customer experience and has the capability of transforming the future of our company."

Highlights
Our application receives data hourly from an internal Access database
Security protocols include two-factor authentication, assuring no unauthorized access.
User submissions transmit to a 3rd party provider for data processing and an API is utilized to provide access to a secure document repository.
The system tracks each user and admin as they browse the system for transparent and informational tracking and usage history.
The entire system is backed up 2x/day automatically.
Challenge.
NYSARC Trust Services provides finanical trust services for those with disabilities throughout New York State. All transactions are hosted internally on a proprietary database run in Microsoft Access.
The client wanted to provide this data for tens of thousands of beneficiaries to thousands of users online, 24/7. Security was natually the primary concern, but ease-of-use and rapid updates were paramount as well.
Solved.
The initial portal was carefully built with UX in mind and went through rigorous internal testing to be sure everyone's initial experiences were seamless and positive.
Following a beta test with a curated group of users, critical feedback was incorporated and the site was launched to their entire client base.
With immensely positive feedback from their client base, phase 2 was launched, allowing users to submit requests and remit supporting documention right online. Our portal dynamically generates cover sheets and sends the information to their 3rd party document processor through secure file transfers.
Direct access to secure account-related document is also available through the portal, utilizing that document processor's API. This not only provided important access for each user, but substantively reduced demands on NYSARC Trust Service's internal support team.
