Highlights

HubSpot API Integration
Pulling in data straight from HubSpot to live update into their inventory system was critical.
Amazon S3 API
File storage integration with Amazon Web Service\s Simple Storage Service (S3) cloud-based hosting.
MSSQL Database Conversion
Previous inventory system used a SQL Server database. Our team seamlessly converted this data to MySQL.
Integrated Accounting
Our software tracks accounting, from current inventory levels to monthly sales and beyond. Custom reports make the CPA's job a breeze.

Challenge.

As a high end rug purveyor, The Scarab's process was inefficient. Rugs were managed in an outdated inventory system on a single computer in their office. Customers and deals were managed in HubSpot. Communication with clients? This was managed through their website.

Some band-aids had been applied to attempt to share data between the systems, but replication and disconnects were the name of the game.

Solved.

Our first step was an on-site visit to The Scarab. We needed to learn more about their business process - how they manage a rug from the time it enters their store, through to clients trying it out and on to a sale.

Armed with that knowledge, we designed an inventory system that fit their process and their people. Reams of data were pulled in from the outdated inventory system and HubSpot, centralizing all data into a single database.

We continue to fine tune this system to match their business needs, having added purchase order management and custom accounting reports post-launch as the system continues to fit their business more and more.
